Development Types were assigned using the SQL script and procedure documented. The result of the procedure is a classification of each grid cell in the study area into one of 25 development types. The results are shown in the image below, with shades of yellow representing residential areas, oranges are mixed use, reds are commercial, purple are industrial, blue are governmental, green are vacant developable, and gray are undevelopable. Refer to the table describing each development type for the specific real estate composition associated with the Development Type. The Development Type value is stored as an attribute in the gridcells table.
