Our lab is on the east side of University Way (the Ave), between 45th and 47th. Here's the Google Map for us (note that Google Maps can't handle the "1/2" in our address).

Visitors: push the little white doorbell mounted on the grill. (Occasionally the bell hasn't worked for some reason -- if you don't get an answer, just bang on the metal grill loudly enough that someone inside can hear you.)

Here are bus routes serving the U-District. In particular, the 71, 72, and 73 express buses go from downtown to close to our front door (get off at the stop just after 45th Street). Bicycle parking is available in the building, if you're willing to carry your bike up the stairs.
