[UrbanSim-Users] Two Positions of Research and Teaching Assistant at the EPFL

There are two research and teaching assistant positions open at the
Transport and Mobility Laboratory of the EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland,
http://transp-or.epfl.ch). The positions might be of interest to UrbanSim
users. Please forward to anyone you think might be interested. Apologies for

1) Domain: integrated transportation and land-use models

The laboratory is looking for a research and teaching assistant in the field
of integrated transportation and land-use modeling. The position will
require a specialist (or someone with the appropriate experience and
motivation to become one) in this domain and will ideally result in a PhD
thesis. The research topic will focus on modeling the evolution of traffic
and land-use development in cities with historically different approaches to
transportation planning.

2) Domain: discrete choice models

The laboratory is looking for a research and teaching assistant, specialized
(or motivated to become a specialist) in discrete choice models in general
and in route choice models in particular, with the objective to start a PhD
