Mark,
When you change the LPM_specification file, you need to reestimate the
coefficients, that is to run the script run_estimation.py (with the right
model uncommented). If you set the argument save_estimation_results to
True, your new specification and coefficients tables are in both, mysql
database and in your cache. Then you can start a new simulation.
