Again: Models' parameters

We managed with deleting model variables for Land_Price_Model with MySQL (in Land_price_model_specification and Land_price_model_coefficients), without any manipulations with scripts. Changed specification leads to new results, i.e. residential land value.
Now the questions are:
- Is it possible to delete (hide) model variables using Python scripts?
-  How to add a new variable to model specification? Which script should be used? Or we can do it only with MySQL?
