MODELING ANALYST II

Maricopa Association of Governments seeks a Modeling Analyst II.
Requires a BS in geography, urban/regional planning or related field and
a minimum of 5 years experience in socioeconomic modeling and analysis.
MS with 2 years experience preferred. Requires the ability to perform
complex mathematical and statistical calculation to identify and analyze
trends, interpret land use, demographics, transportation, and other
related data. Must have knowledge of programming in VB, Python, or C++
and advanced statistics. Requires demonstrated proficiency with ArcGIS
and ArcView software, databases and spreadsheets. Knowledge of
UrbanSim/OPUS preferred. Strong computer, communication and problem
solving skills are necessary. Salary range is $51,042 - $76,563, DOE.
