This chapter describes the different components -- datasets and models -- used in a typical application of UrbanSim to simulate different actors and processes in the urban environment. These components are the ones we use in the Puget Sound application. As described in Chapter 4, not all of these component models are required to run UrbanSim; however, we hope that researchers and practitioners who want to apply UrbanSim 4 to other regions will find this a useful starting point.
