In 2006, we obtained a new grant under the NSF Digital Government Program: "Modeling Uncertainty in Land Use and Transportation Policy Impacts: Statistical Methods, Computational Algorithms, and Stakeholder Interaction," Grant No. IIS-0534094. Please see the News page for more details. Other current funding is from the Puget Sound Regional Council to support the local application of UrbanSim in the Puget Sound region, from the Environmental Protection Agency, and from the Maricopa Association of Governments, the regional agency for the metropolitan Phoenix area. The project has also received gifts from IBM under their Eclipse Innovation Program, from Google, and an in-kind donation from Wingware of licenses for the Wing Python IDE. In addition, we have also received funding from several other state and local governments (including King County, Oregon Department of Transportation, Wasatch Front Regional Council, and the Houston-Galveston Council of Governments), from the Federal Highway Administration, and from the University of Washington PRISM project. | |
