Inputs to the Model System

What are the inputs to the proposed model system? These inputs will determine what the model system is sensitive to in terms of policies and conditions.

Base Year Data Inputs

Land Use Data

• Location of households, to a parcel level (or aggregation of parcels), with characteristics such as income, workers, cars, persons
• Persons within households, including age, gender, work status, workplace
• Parcels and associate characteristics of size, land use, value, land use plan
• Buildings and associated attributes of parcel_id, square footage, building type, value, year built

Transportation System

• Road network with attributes of capacity, topology (node - link structure), ...
• Transit system and level of service

• Changes in macroeconomy (population and employment control totals)
• Land Use Plans
• Development Constraints
• Changes to Roadway network capacity
• Changes to road pricing
• Changes to transit system and level of service
