The PSRC implementation of Urbansim was started in 2003 through a collaboration with Paul Waddell at the University of Washington. This work is documented here

PSRC completed the first production runs for Urbansim in spring 2009 for the Transportation 2040 long range plan. The integrated modeling process used in this application is documented

Urbansim is applied in Puget Sound using 1.2 million parcels, 1 million buildings, 1.3 million households, 3.2 million people, and 1.8 million jobs. An overview of this system can be found at
